I need to find a drive pulley for a Maytag Dryer Model no: MGD7236AWW. My local appliance repair shop told me that I had to buy the $125 plus tax motor in order to get the pulley. Seems ridiculous Maytag would make their customer buy a $125 motor to get a $20 pulley? Is there any way to order the pulley from the company that made the pulley for Maytag?
ANSWER Hello. Sorry, but most motors have to be replaced to get the pulley. You will need to contact the manufacture with this issue as we have no control over the parts they offer to the customers. Thank you.
