Pulley on this washer keeps falling down. Does the nut need to be tighter with a lock washer or could it be something else?
ANSWER Hello Wpark. In order to save a repeat call, the technician should always replace the Splutch Pulley,
Pulley Nut, and Drive Belt. The technician should also inspect the teeth on the splutch
assembly for wear/damage and belt guard for damage, and replace if necessary. It is not
necessary to replace the entire gear case assembly. Order replacement parts by model
number. Apply a coating of medium strength thread lock to the threads on the shaft as well.
