I have a Maytag Performa gas dryer and I can't figure out how to test the start switch. There are three wires two blue and one read. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou
ANSWER Dave, You forgot to attach the model number. But , as best we can tell, there should be four(4) wires to the start switch. The blue wire to the timer, should be on the top horizontal terminal, the blue wire to the motor, on the top vertical terminal, the pink/black wire to the neutral line, on the middle vertical terminal, and the tan wire to the signal buzzer on the bottom vertical terminal.
