I have another question about that black wire on the replacement defrost timer. My old timer wire are positioned as in procedure 3 . #1 orange #2 pink #3 white #4 red, which would be terminal #1. I'm not sure which terminal to use since your original information gave me the #2 terminal. Could you starighten me out on this? Thanks!

ANSWER Hello,
The black wire should be attached to terminal number 1 (OR) in order for it to go into defrost every 8 hours.
