The 2176648 replacement timer has a (extra?) black lead (loose motor lead?). Instructions are confusing, to say the least. What terminal is this lead supposed to be connected to on my Whirlpool ED20TKXDN03 refrigerator freezer? Thanks, Rick

ANSWER Hello Rick. For continuous run timer
push slotted loose timer
motor lead over & all the
way down terminal
number 1 with wire
toward timer motor.
