Freezer side works. Has some frost buildup and no air flow to fridge. Any ideas?

ANSWER Hello Laura,
If you are having heavy frost or ice build up on evaporator then you may have a defrost failure. Check continuity of the defrost heater 2323198 and bimetal [W10225581]. You would also want to look to see if coil is only half way impacted or ice on half only. This would cause the air flow problem. Also check your fan motor to make sure that it is turning. If fan is not running then you need to check to make sure you are getting 120vac to the fan motor 2315549. If you are then the motor is bad. If you have only half of the evaporator coils that is not defrosting then you would want to replace the bimetal. Also check your auto damper 2216112 in the refrigerator section to make sure that it is opening and closing. If it is not then it will need to be replace.
