My ice maker has recent begun to have problems. The unit makes ice continuously; even when I switch the control unit off, it continues to make ice. water seems to be leaking from the ice maker, (it freezes, making small ice cicles from the ice tray). Can you tell me what components might be failing?
ANSWER Hello Mustafa,
The icemaker leaking issue would possibly be a deteriorating ice mold. You will want to remove the icemaker and look to see if mold is peeling. IF so you would want to replace the mold or icemaker. The unit not shutting off you would need a new emitter board 4389102.
