A cap and reinstall with Nat Gas Showing OR 2.Reversing & Reinstalling Cap Nut so that Nat Gas Is Visible or 3.Remove Cap, Force out a plastic plunger, turn over and force back in to original location, but with NAT Gas end down ?? NO NEW KIT or PARTS Required ??
ANSWER Hi Dave. Shut the red lever so the gas supply is off before you attempt this adjustment. Then remove the brass top cap. There is a green stem that needs to be inverted on the back side. Leave the diaphragm spring internal and let the stem adjust it as needed. There are different types of regulators. This should work as far as the cap. Pressure regulator part # 74001931. Thank You.
