I have read some of the posts, I thought I diagnosed it right. I have an Amana Oven and the clock part seems to work right. I press Bake and press on the temp to 350, the pre-bake comes on with the temp at 170. 3-5 seconds later the temp display turns off and nothing happens after that. I hear a click or even several clicks (1/2 second) very fast coming from the relay board. I ordered Y0309305 part and replaced the relay board. Same thing. I am not sure if the replacement board is also bad or if it is something else. Where is the high temp switch, could that be bad? There are times I keep going through this cycle and eventually it starts and once it is warm it stays going. Any clues?
ANSWER Hello Erik. Check all connections on the unit and make sure they are good and tight. Also, inspect the wiring harness on the unit. This sounds like a power supply issue more than a part error. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
