Out of the blue, freezer portion of fridge stop working; food found thawed and warm.
Had a stand up freezer do the same...and it turned out to be the relay switch. Could this be the problem?

ANSWER Hello Cudaman86. Yes, if the compressor does not run and is clicking, you may need to replace the relay overload on the unit.
