My Maytag dryer stopped in mid cycle, just shut off. When I tried to push the start button the dryer did not turn on. Also when I push the start button, over on the load cycle button there is like a clicking noise like the dryer is trying to start. HELP!!
ANSWER Hello Karin,
You will want to check the thermal fuse and thermostats for being faulty. If one is faulty this will cause the unit to not operate. You can check these for continuity on each one of the parts. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
