How do I separate the motor from the impeller? It looks like the motor and impeller are splined. I've gotten the chopper blade and its screw off of the other end. I've got the four screws out that hold the motor to the housing. If simply pulling and prying carefully should allow the impeller to slip off of the motor shaft, then that's what I need to know before I try too hard. I will probably buy this motor fan also once I get things apart. Thank you very much!

ANSWER Hello,
The pump impeller screws into the end of the motor fan blade. It has standard right handed threads, so unscrew it in a counterclockwise direction as you hold the motor fan blade still with a wrench or screwdriver.
