In trouble shooting a small leak from the bottom of my dishwasher door, I am trying to see how the bottom, corner edges of this gasket are supposed to be installed. Are they held to the sides by the bottom corner clips? My seal ends are facing inwards at about a 45 degree angle, and won't stay straight out towards the door. I want to make sure I install the new one correctly!

ANSWER Bart, You're on track. The ends of the gasket are not secured to the tub or flange,or by the corner clips. The new seal will take a "seat" eventually, and will usually point towards the center of the tub, just as you described.
