ANSWER Hello David! From the diagram it doesn't look like the gasket is screwed in. Pull the old gasket off. The new gasket will press into the door liner. It may be best to soak the new gasket in warm water to help take its shape/form You may need to use a hair dryer to form the seal, be careful not to melt it. Hope this helps!
