Ice is forming on the top inside of my freezer compartment. I think the seal may be defective, but I'm not sure. Perhaps there is some other reason for ice forming in the compartment. How can I determine if a bad seal is responsible for the ice?

ANSWER Hello Dennis. Close the freezer door and look all around the door seal. If there is a gap in the door seal, and you can see a gap or a crack, you will need to replace the freezer door seal 63001612 in the unit.
