My ice shut off arm has fallen off. how do i re-attach? can i take off cover of the sencor box? (if so how)

James for Model Number RB21KA4AF

ANSWER James, You don't really need to remove the mechanism cover, But if you want to, you can use a flat blade screwdriver and insert it into the slots molded into the bottom of the mechanism and twist. If anything, you may want to remove and disconnect the icemaker. The 90 dgr. bend in the arm will be inserted in the round opening of the water inlet housing 628356 and the other(wiggly) end will be inserted into the slot of the white nylon hub on the backside of the mechanism control head D7824706Q. you have to alihn evrything first, then press the arm into the hub, until it seats and "clicks" into place. Thanks and Good Luck
