My washer functions properly but it bangs/knocks internally just as it starts each spin cycle. It starts out loud and hard then quiets down a bit for a couple minutes then the noise completely goes away. While spinning fast there is no banging/knocking.
There are no leaks, the tub/basket is level, no other noises are present during operaton(i.e. grinding, squealing scraping, etc.)
The washer does not move/walk while in operation) Aside from the loud banging/knocking during operaton there are no other problems.
What might be the issue?
ANSWER Hello Shawn. You need to check and see if the shocks are bad and need to be replaced on the unit.
