My duet whirlpool drum moves a lot during the spin cycle. I opened up the back to check the shocks and everything seems to be in place and functionning. I also leveled off the base but it keeps shaking a lot (more than before). How do I know the shocks need to be changed or is it something else?

ANSWER Ben, You will want to check for movement of the inner tub up and down. If there is movement up and down then either the spinner support weld has broken or bad tub bearings. To check the shocks you would push down on the tub and it should spring back up. If not then the shocks are worn.
