Why is my washer not spinning the tub during the spin cycle?

ANSWER Hello Marty. You will need to check the thrust bearing 12002213 on the unit. Try turning the pulley by hand, with the belt off, and see if the brake releases. If not, you will need to replace the thrust bearing kit. Also, check the belt 35-2279 and make sure it is good. Hope this helps.
