How do you install the solenoid?

ANSWER Hi D 2. I have researched the service manuals but it is purposely not explained due to a liability issue. From experience I will try to explain. Remove power. Remove the spill catcher. It has 2- hidden screws that need to be removed. Then lift up on the fountain Eustachian control and pull off the front while unhooking the interface control board. Then you are at the fountain bracket assy. part # 61003407. On the back side of this is where the solenoid is mounted. Pay attn. of the winding and position of the spring. It goes on one way and it is only wound once ! If you see that the bracket has melted because the solenoid was continuously on, then replace it. Remove the torx type t-20 screws. The chute inner door flapper has to completely seal against the door chute. Inspect it and replace it if needed. Part # 61005883. Also it would be wise to replace the center strike if yours does not have the center finger. part # 61005886. Thank You.
