Oven/Broiler ignition clicks twice but does not ignite. All controls - temperature, timer, oven "on" indicators appear to be working but the oven or when in broiler mode is not operating. Likely problem the spark module or if unit has one the oven spark igniter?
ANSWER Hello Chuck,
The first thing to check is the is to make sure that you are getting proper voltage to the direct spark ignition control. With oven on broil you want to have 120vac between connectors J1-4 neutral and J1-7 L1. If you don't have power here then you need to replaced Clock assembly 6610449 black, 6610450 white, 6610451 biscuit. If you have power the test from J1-4 to J1--2. If you do not have power then replace spark module W10331686. If you do have power then replace spark ignitor 8054129. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
