The oven works, but the all 4 gas burners do not make clicking sound, I can smell gas, so gas is flowing. After chat with appliancepartspros, I purchased ignitor, AP3031050 (8053421). Q/A says to open the BACK of the stove, and another says LIFT the TOP to replace the part. How can I reach the part with my Whirlpool Super Capacity 465 aka SF395LEEQ?
ANSWER Hello Charlie. You need to check the module and the switches, not the igniter. The module or switches will cause the issue you are having with the unit. If the switches are closing, replace the module. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
