My igniter for the oven is sparking, my gas valve is humming and my oven will not light. The stove top lights fine. Do I need this igniter board or the control board?

ANSWER Hello Calvin. You can test at the gas valve. You should have atleast 9 volts dc across the red and orange wires. If you have this voltage, then you have a bad gas valve. If the voltage is not there, you either have a bad spark module or broke wire. Hope this helps.
