Are the Pt. #AP3120822 leveling mechanism spring part of the back feet adjusting/locking mechanism on the machine, and does it require two?

ANSWER Jeff, the leveling spring 8316845 connects the two links 63466 together that the feet 33001800 slide into on the machine. Your unit uses one leveling spring. Thanks!
