I need to know specifically how to connect my idler spring. I've tried different ways but idler pulley not tight enough? When I spin the drum, the belt rolls off...HELP
ANSWER Hi Carl. The idler arm has a hole in the upper pulley side that connects the spring there and to the hole in the base of the unit. Put the belt with the rib side down on the drum and then pull the slack of the belt to one side under the idler pulley wheel. Put the loop formed around the motor shaft and then easily rotate the drum to the left only. This will slowely align the drum and the belt / motor together. Thank You.
