My refrigerator is 2 yrs and 8 months old. It's in my basement. A few weeks ago my basement got about 4 inches of water in it. The fridge still worked after that until about a week ago. It clicks like it wants to start, then it clicks again. a minute later it clicks again like it's trying to start and then clicks again. I think it's poping some kind of internal breaker and then reseting. I looked at the parts list and there is a START-DEV PS2367048. Is this some sort of electronic starting mechanism that got wet and damaged? and could this be my problem?

ANSWER Blaine, If your evaporator fan motor is operating but the compressor is not coming on and is clicking every minute or so then the start device has failed and would need to be replaced.
