Came home to water on the floor and refrigerator not cooling. I tested the compressor and it seems to be fine. The compressor will hum for about 10 seconds and then stop. If its not the compressor wouldnt it be the start devise or capacitor and if so can I install a 3 in 1 relay to take care of the problem? After I put everything back together and it was unplugged for a couple hours it started cooling rather rapidly but woke up to water on the floor again and no cooling.
Thank for help!!
ANSWER Hello Michael. Do not use a 3 in 1 when your start device W10613606 is still available. If the new start device does not fix the unit, then the compressor is bad. Compressors can test good and actually be bad on the units.
