I got an F51 code and was in the process of removing the RPS unit and noticed the stater has cracks in the housing area but not in the magnets and everything else looks great, does it need to be replaced or will it last awhile longer. The washer is less than 5 years is this normal. by the way this is my 3rd control unit for a F1 code. I think this machine is just going to be a money pit any recommendation on a good washer

ANSWER Hello Mike, If the stator plastic is cracked then you would need to replace the stator W10419333. If you do not you will continue to have the same problem due to the magnets will start wobbling and throw the sensor W10183157 off.
