Background:
I got this and followed the instructions. However, the adhesive strip failed to adhere after a short time, the result was that the clip jiggled. A week or so later my wife simply closed the crisper and the clip fell out and the hole the clip sits in has damage at the bottom, so that the clip is now more likely to fall out than stay in place.
I'm thinking the solution is to glue the clip in place with some form of epoxy. Which leads to a question:
Will this only create greater damage to the refrigerator?

ANSWER Hello Crispy. The only issue would be if the support is broken again, yuo could remove it to replace it again.
