I saw this support spring under the dishwasher when I open the bottom panel. But it does not attached / bolted to the frame. How it supposed to be work?
Is it loose or off-track?

ANSWER Hello Patrick,
The round loop at the bottom goes around the end of the motor shaft and the other end fits into slots in the metal shield on the bottom of the dishwasher tub. It just slides into the slots. The motor may have to be manipulated a bit to accomplish the insertion into the slots.
