Our washing machine makes a lot of noise when it is spinning. it sounds like a bearing or something is going bad.

ANSWER You can remove the access panel on the back of the washer, and inspect the tub bearing from there. Look for signs of a leak around it, also rotate the tub by hand, and see if there is dragging with the tub.
