When lighting burners they don't alway come on - I always hear the clicking but the spark at the burner I am trying to light is not strong. This problem seems to move around randomly from burner to burner. Should the ignitor spark normally with the burner cap off?
ANSWER Alan, Make sure the burner base, ignotor and burner caps are clean(no debris, rust, corrosion, etc) the caps are installed on the burner bases properly. Check and make sure the power cord is plugged into a 120 VAC polarized, grounded outlet. Replace the spark module 74009098, not the ignitors. Thanks and Good Luck
