I had a potato water boil over on a kenmore gas ignition range..now it no longer lights ..duh! Gas comes out but will not light. No click so i,m guessing I need a new ignitor?!?! thanks lowell
You will want to take the control panel off the gas valves and check the ignition switch to make sure that the switches have continuity. When you turn on the valve, check across the leads of the switches with the switches in the on position and check for continuity. If any of them have no continuity then replace the switches. If these check ok then you will need to check the electrodes for damage. Also check for continuity of the igniters.
