ANSWER Harry, Suspension pads, don't normally produce a " clunking" noise in the spin cycle, but a loose, worn out drive block 389140 or spin tube 285792 can and will. You may want to check the motor drive coupling as well 285753A If it is damaged, it could create a noise similar to a clunking noise as well. Good Luck and Thanks
