I am being very cautious about removing the overlay. If i take a flat blade putty knife and try to peel it off is it a very thin overlay (like a decal) or does if have some thickness to it. If I am successful in removing the overlay will this leave me an opening to get at the switch#ap3086666? Also, if I cut completely through the overlay and remove the whole section will that be a better choice? Will that give me access to the switch for removal? Reference schematic "dispenser front panel". Anxiously awaiting you reply.
ANSWER Hello Joe,
You could try to remove the overlay using a putty knife being very careful. The overlay is not overly think and can be damaged. Once overlay is off it will give you access to remove switch. Would not recommend cutting section out. If you damage the overlay and want to replace it you will have to order the front cover assembly which will also have the switch in it.
