How do I find and remove lid switch to check and see if it is working properly?

ANSWER Hello Blink. To access the lid switch 12001187 to test it, you will use a flat blade and release the clips 25-7220 and raise the top of the washer. Once the top is raised, you will see the lid switch on the right side under the top assembly. Hope this helps.
