Hi, I ordered a replacement fan switch and the switch looks different than the one I'm replacing. I don't see a way to attach the switch to the trim plate. Any suggestions? Thanks!

ANSWER Hello Jen,
When you slide the switch into the slot it should pop or snap into place. It has to be forced in from the top of the trim plate to get it to snap in.
