Joe for Model Number magic chef cgr1420bdw

ANSWER Joe, You'll need to remove the grates, drip pans and burners, (turn the burner assembly 90 dgrs counterclockwise, label the burner location and wires)remove the four(4) small phillips head screws under the burner assemblie.Use a putty knife or flat blade tool, press in on the spring clips located in the seam between the manifold panel and the bottom edge of the cooktop, and raise the top. Remove the burner valve knobs, Remove the phillips head screws that mount the manifold panel to the cabinet frame, and slide the panel off the range, you nw jhave access to the switches, wiring and valves. You can use a paper clip to release the wires from the openings in the switch, or clip the wires at the switch and strip and install the wires in the new switch. Thanks and Good Luck
