I have already removed the manifold panel and am holding the igniter switch (AP4101594) in my hand. how do I remove the wires from the igniter switch so i can put them into the new igniter switch. Does the switch come apart or is their a release for the wire or do I cut the wires, restrip them and insert them into the new igniter switch?
ANSWER Lowell, You could cut the wires, right at the switch, if you have to, but you should be able to use a small paper clip, straighten it. and insert it into the opening with the wire, then pull the wire out. The interior contact are "spring loaded" and contact the wirewhen it's inserted into the opening. Thanks and Good Luck
