I did not test the switch to see if it was sending power to the element, I installed a new switch and got no change in the element. Does your answer still fit this scenario?
ANSWER Hello Holclkc. No, you will need to test the switch W10185286 and see if it is sending power to the element. If not, replace the switch. If it is sending power, you will need to replace the element. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
