I bought an infinite switch, AP3174889 (4456027), from you folks for my cooktop. First off, it looks nothing like the original. By using the wiring diagram, I've managed to get the LF burner working. However the power indicator light does not come on when this (new) switch is activated; it DOES come on for all the other burners. Here's the description of what wires are currently at what connection, for both the old switch, and the new one: BK - 2 (original), P1 (new) ----
R - N (original), P2 (new) ---- OR - N (original), 2 (new) ---- OR/WH - 3 (original), 4 (new) ---- OR/BK - 4 (original), 4a (new) ---- V - 5 (original), S2 (new). Once again, what is wrong? Do you have a cross-reference for connections on the old switch versus the new one? Any assistance would be very much appreciated.
