My washer will not start when I close the lid but if I push a toothpick into the slot under the lid it starts. I need to know what parts I need to repair this. Do I need the whole lid switch or just parts to repair the switch? Thank you for your help.
ANSWER Hello Wynell. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the lid switch 22003804 is bad on the unit and will need to be replaced. Check and make sure the plunger 22002754 is good on the unit. If not, you will need to replace it as well.
