Washer will fill but will not start any of the normal wash cycles. I hear the timer but no action from the washer. I replaced the timer a year ago and the fill switch 6 months ago. Could it be the lid switch this time around?

ANSWER Roz45, At this point, it's not likely the lid switch, You said you could hear the timer, if the switch were at fault, the timer would not run. You may have a faulty contact in the new timer, or a loose or broken wire to the motor. You may want to check the wiring harness block connector for a loose connection at the timer, and / or the motor.
