The washer will fill up. Once it is full and the lid is closed you can hear it start to spin. The motor is going but the tub will not spin. Starts to smell like something is burning. But when you hit the "Spin" cycle to empty the tub it spins fine.

ANSWER Hello Kevin. Check the motor coupling and make sure it is good on the unit. If not, it will cause the issue you are having.
