How do I check this switch?
ANSWER Hi Anthony. Pull off the original switch hose. You use a hose of the same diameter. Hook it on the pressure switch and then start the washer. Blow into the switch and see if the contacts close and allow the motor to run. This will tell you if the contacts and diaphragm is OK. Blow back into the hose towards the tub and see if you move a restriction that was formed into the hose end. This will allow the pressure switch to "misread" and act defective. You can check between the Gray and the yellow White the pressure applied to the switch. Use a ohmmeter and see if the 2 -points close and read 0- ohms. If they do not and read infinity or open, Then the switch is defective. Part # 208201. You can temporarily jump. out these wires and the washer should fill and run also. Thank You.
