Washer fills but will not start. smells hot, timer makes popping noise, but not arcing. level fill sensor is ok, replaced the drain pump, swapped out timers. Found out that if I let the machine make it's noises for appx 2 minutes, the cycle begins, and will work fine the rest of the day.
ANSWER Dan, Have you checked for a bad extra rinse or lid switch ? Or loose wires at the same switches. Based on your post everything else is OK. A loose wire or slightly defective switch could be the issue. Thanks and Good Luck
