Dryer works fine except it always runs on "regular" or hottest setting. Sliding the "infinite temperature" switch has no effect on the drying temp. I assume this means the Temperature switch part number AP4042415 needs to be replaced. Is there any other failed part or adjustment I should look for?

ANSWER Hello Don. Test the switch 33001656 for continuity as you slide it and see if the terminals on the back of it changes. If not, you will need to replace the temperature switch. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
