Hello. I have a Maytag gas dryer. I know the model is Atlantis and that it is about 10 years old. Recently, the pull knob to start the dryer has been harder to pull and activate the dryer. As of yesterday, when I pull on the knob, the lights to the left indicating wet or dry come on, but the dryer does not. When I let the knob go, the lights go out. I was wondering if that problem sounds like the on off knob or switch, and if so, is that something you sell on your website? Thanks for your time.
ANSWER Hi. Inside the dryer door frame is the model # so we can send the correct part. It sounds like a timer issue. If you have a MDG508... model # then the timer part # is 37001241. If you have the MDG5000... model # then the timer is part # 33001624. Thank You.
