My washer was not allowing water into the drum.. I replaced the water inlet with a brand new on mfg# 3979346. The washer worked 2 time perfectly then stopped filling again. Checked resisstance at the inlet valve that was ok.. could the issue be the timer or the flow meter, or water level switch?
ANSWER Hello Goosehunter10876. On the pressure switch , it should read closed across Violet and Pink when empty. If not, replace the pressure switch. If it is closed, then it leads to the temperature sensor on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
