I have the Maytag Brovos MCT 7.3 steam dryer. I have to run the dryer several times to get it to dry my clothes. When I open the dryer there is steam and a little bit of water on the drum and door. I removed the vent to to see if there is a difference and was unsuccessful. Do I need to replace the thermostat? If possible please let me know what the part number is so I can order it from this site. Thank You
You will want to check to make sure that the blower wheel does not have lint clogged up on it which would cause restricted flow. If this checks ok then you want to check to make sure that the water valve is not seeping allowing water to come into the unit when it is not calling for water. If all this checks ok then the control board would be the problem.
